Order Terms and Conditions

Please read these Order Terms and Conditions carefully, as by placing an order, you are agreeing to accept them and be bound by them.

These Order Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. This Legal Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any dispute(s) arising in connection with this Legal Notice are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.

1. Payments

  • Payment is taken at the time of placing the order for online or telephone orders
  • Milgi Coats will not start to process any order until the payment is received and the funds have cleared
  • Our online shopping cart on www.milgicoats.co.uk is for UK based orders only
  • We are delighted to accept international orders through our International Site or over the telephone using credit/debit cards

2. Prices

  • Prices of items are subject to change from time to time without notice. However, Milgi Coats will honour the prices that were on the website at the time your order was placed
  • The prices shown on the website for products do not include delivery or packaging unless stated

3. UK Delivery

  • Delivery charges are calculated and added to total cost at the online checkout
  • Orders are sent by Parcelforce using their Express24 service within the UK unless stated otherwise
  • We dispatch on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Delivery is generally made the next day - i.e. Wednesday or Friday, but may be longer for outlying locations and is not guaranteed
  • A signature is required on receipt of delivery which can be tracked via the Parcelforce website
  • Items which cannot be delivered will generally be taken to your nearest Post Office for you to collect, you'll need to take ID with you and the card left by Parcelforce
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept any delivery instructions or conditions
  • If you wish for your order to be sent using another method please Contact Us first as there may be an additional charge

4. Free Delivery

  • Free delivery for orders over £70.00 is for delivery using Parcelforce's Express24 service, only on the days we dispatch, which are currently Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Over £70.00 means orders placed which exceed £70.00, so £70.01 or above
  • This offer is subject to withdrawal at anytime

5. Royal Mail Next-Day Special Delivery Guaranteed Service

  • This is a optional additional service
  • There is an additional charge for this service, we will advise you of the charge when ordering
  • Royal Mail charges more for Saturday deliveries than week-day deliveries, there are no deliveries on a Sunday
  • For guaranteed next-day deliveries items must be posted before 1pm, which means we need a reasonable period of time to pack the item and take it to a Post Office
  • Royal Mail guarantees items will be delivered by 1pm the next day with this service, if posted before 1pm the previous day
  • Online tracking and signature on delivery are included with this service
  • We only accept orders by telephone and payment by card or Paypal for this service
  • If using PayPal we will only dispatch when we've been notified by PayPal of the successful payment

6. International Customers (Non UK)

  • We recommend using a tracked delivery method
  • Delivery times will vary and will be according to your selected postage / delivery option
  • We will advise you of estimated delivery times from dispatch, but cannot be held responsible for delivery times as thse are outside of our control
  • We will notify you when your order has been dispatched
  • You are responsible for payment of postage for any returned items, this includes the use of secure tracked or signed for delivery method
  • Refunds will not be made until we have safely received the return item

7. Lead Times

  • Many of our items are made to order
  • Lead times cannot be guaranteed and can vary depending on the work load at any given time
  • Lead times, from ordering, for items not in stock are around one week
  • If your order will take longer than expected, we will contact you via email giving an estimated timeframe
  • Items made to order are dispatched as per UK Delivery above
  • If you need something for a particular date, please Contact Us before placing the order and we'll do our best to help

9. Quality and Use of Products

  • Milgi Coats strives to produce items of excellent quality, using the best materials. However, nothing lasts forever and it is the customer's responsibility to check for wear and tear
  • Please bear in mind that our fleece coats are designed for indoor use, not for outdoor use; especially not for coping with brambles, prickles and hedges
  • We also advise you strongly to follow the Care Instructions on our website
  • If you feel that a product you have purchased from Milgi Coats has not lasted as long as you would have reasonably expected given only regular use, please Contact Us as soon as possible so that we can assess the product and decide on a course of action, usually either refund or replacement

10. Descriptions

  • We try to describe colours and designs as accurately as possible and take photos to support the description, however, your computer/device screen may show colours differently based upon your settings
  • If you'd like to be absolutely sure before you buy, we can send you a swatch of any of our fabrics, free of charge. This is ideal if you are wanting to match a coat to a particular item such as a new lead or collar

11. Returns and Refunds

  • We will happily replace an item if you have ordered the incorrect size or colour, except if it's bespoke/custom made, providing it is not damaged in any way
  • If you have any problem or are dissatisfied with your order, please Contact Us within seven days of receipt of the item
  • If you do need to return an item, and after you have contacted us, please return the item well packaged, using a tracked or signed for delivery method and in the condition in which it first arrived with you
  • You will be responsible for the return packaging and postage costs of all returned items
  • If PayPal is used for payment, PayPal will advise you of your Buyer Protection rights

12. Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations

  • If you wish to cancel under these regulations, please Contact Us within 14 days of receipt of the goods
  • These regulations do not apply to goods which have been custom/bespoke made to your requirements
  • After you have contacted us, please return the goods in the condition in which they first arrived with you
  • You should return the goods with 14 days of notifying us of the cancellation
  • You will be responsible for all the return packaging and postage costs, and these will not be refunded
  • We recommend using signed for or tracked postage as proof of postage might be required
  • A full refund will be made for the goods, and the outbound postage costs, providing there are no signs of unreasonable use leading to diminished value, in which case a partial refund might be made
  • The refund will be made either within 14 days of us receiving the goods back or within 14 days of you providing us with proof of postage

13. Disclaimer of Warranty

  • Milgi Coats assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in these materials
  • These materials are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Milgi Coats further does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, text, graphics,links or other items contained within these materials
  • Milgi Coats shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including without limitation, lost revenues or lost profits, which may result from the use of these materials.
  • The information on this website is subject to change without notice and does not represent a commitment on the part of Milgi Coats in the future
